To quote a favorite song, "Friends...where would we be without them...?" I have been reminded lately how valuable they are to me. I am so blessed to have friends who are family members, friends I've known forever, some I've just met, friends at church, at work, in the neighborhood, and at my kids' schools...people have been put in my path who have become an important part of my life, and I am grateful.
It takes a real friend to know when and how to laugh, cry, comfort, engage, rescue, encourage, confide, share, reprimand, inspire, motivate, buoy up...and sometimes just make me laugh so hard I cry. I am thankful that my life experiences have led me to friends who bring me these things. I love you and need you in my life.
