MORE Soccer!

Finally able to get some semi-good action shots at Grayson's soccer game. They're farther away, so I lose resolution zooming in...PLUS, it's dark...PLUS, it's ACTION SHOTS, so they're always BLURRY! But it's the best I can do!

Grayson's team plays in the championship game on Tuesday, May 7th!

Spring Soccer

Spring Soccer has once again begun. I have to say, I have been able to capture some pretty good ACTION SHOTS at Sam's games with my phone! (Grayson's games are at night, and they really don't photograph well...but I'm still trying and will post soon.)

Anyway, sometimes when I THINK he's in the middle of the action, I just snap away, and hope I capture something good. We're so far away and with the delay on my camera, I can't be sure -- but look at THESE! When you zoom in, you can see I actually got some good ones!

 

Sam's having a great season so far! And more importantly, he's having FUN!

Da-Boys

Now that Randi has her own car, we are able to see her and Andrew, Cielo and Bryson more often. We took some photos when they came over to document their total cuteness!

The boys are obsessed with my camera, and want to see every photo I take,
and want to take some where they can see themselves in the screen as we're doing it.

 

 

Random Tattoo

Just a random photo...Steve and I were at dinner in Nashville, and taken aback by the tattooed man in the booth next to us. His head was all shaved, except a tuft of hair on top. But the top and sides of his head were tattooed to create a hairline that looked fairly normal. I couldn't get a good photo without being too obvious, but I got this one!

Mexican Batman

I think it is safe and accurate to say that Sam is OBSESSED with BATMAN. He loves all the new Batman movies and watches them regularly, quotes lines from them all the time, imitates the 'voice' of Batman, and he and his friend are planning to BE Batman and Robin when they grow up. Depending upon who has the biggest house will determine which one is Batman...and the corporate sponsorships they are sure to have will provide the funds for their new & improved BATMOBILE.

So it was no surprise that when given the school assignment to create a menu for "his own restaurant," he chose a mexican restaurant with the theme of BATMAN. We were like, "REALLY?!" It was quite entertaining to see how his mind worked in putting together ideas for his restaurant, and the menu. And he even found an image of Batman in a Sombrero online, so he put a Mexican flag in his hand...who wouldathunkit?

He wanted to laminate it, so all the "many people eating at his restaurant wouldn't get food on it." HA! A fun project -- and he got a good grade on it.

Franklin 3 Basketball

We had a fun season in church basketball this year. Grayson invited three of his friends to come play on the team (Davis Fuqua, Thomas Mogich and Jonathan Cirone), and because they were AWESOME, and TALL, we had a great season! We ended up undefeated in the tournament, and second place in the final multi-stake championship!
