World-Wide Day of Service

In September, our stake participated in the Church's "Worldwide Day of Service." The Relief Society was in charge of a blood drive at the stake center, where we got 51 pints of blood!

The Youth cleaned up trash along Mack Hatcher Parkway, and then helped adults (Steve's group) with painting, planting, and general clean-up at Moore Elementary School (all four Harris kids attended that school). Prior to them leaving the stake center for the project, Franklin's Mayor Ken Moore (non-LDS) met with the youth and our Stake President, Bill Grayson and 1st Counselor Dave Critchlow, and thanked them for their service. Grayson happened to be in the group included in a photo op (far right, white t-shirt)!
