WKRP in Cincinnati

I work for PHS Correctional Healthcare, and we recently attended the American Jail Association's conference in Cincinnati. Since our company is going through a merger which should be final June 3rd, it's the last time we'll be using the name PHS, and the current logo and branding.  The new company will have a new name and logo, and all our marketing materials will change. So...I figured I should blog a shot of us at our booth to remember "the good ole' days."

One of the fringe benefits of having this show in Cincinnati was the opportunity to go to dinner with our dear friends, Tom & Alycia McClurg, who live in Loveland, Ohio. They drove downtown and picked me up, and we went to a fabulous dinner at the Palomino Restaurant.

At the fountain outside Graeter's Ice Cream!
Not saying we ate ice cream there...
not saying we didn't!

There was some baseball game going on that night, and there was huge jumbo screen by the fountain, where folks were sitting and standing watching the Chicago Cubs beat the Cincinnati Reds.

Such great friends for about 23 years! We had a wonderful evening eating great food, visiting, catching up, and then Tom drove us all around downtown Cincinnati and showed me the sights, buildings, tourist stuff, concert halls where they've played in the pit orchestra, pricey houses across the river where they'd like to live someday, the museum, etc. I've never been downtown Cincinnati before!

What a fun time, thanks, guys. It made this trip not feel like work! (And it made up for the last part of the theme song to "WKRP in Cincinnati" playing in my head all weekend long...)
