We were planning on leaving for home on Monday, January 2nd. When the transmission went out on our van, we thought we'd have a couple of extra days to spend in Nebraska. BUT...the bad news/good news was that they finished our van early, and we could still leave on Monday, just later in the day. So that threw us into quickly gathering up, packing up, and NOT having that extra time we were anticipating!
And we had to do one more time "around the circle" with kisses and hugs (like we had done each night when Colton & Rogan were going to bed). So sweet...!
The boys still hadn't shown us how they could ride their bikes...so while we were loading up the van:
Then we turned around, and found a STOWAWAY in our van...Colton thought he'd sneak in and hide and go home with us!

But alas, the time had come to hit the road...
