JUNIOR PROM

So...Grayson is almost 17, and hasn't had an official "first date." That is totally okay with his parents, because we really don't want to push the whole dating thing anyway. But he DID want to go to his Junior Prom! So he has a friend named Sydney Gleason who has a boyfriend who graduated from Centennial HS last year. He is a foreign exchange student -- so he went back to France. Apparently they're still 'in love' but she wanted to go to Prom, too, so she and Grayson agreed to go together but not really as an official boyfriend/girlfriend date. Just friends...

Ready for PROM

We had never met her before, and I insisted she come by the house before they went to Carnton Plantation to have photos done. (Grayson still doesn't have a drivers licence, so she picked him up in her truck.) She came by the house (her mom and sister came with her), and we took a couple photos in the living room.

Well, it was raining the day of Prom, so instead of Carnton Plantation, we all went to Embassy Suites lobby to take group photos of the 10 couples who were going on the big group date.

Sydney spent much of the night FaceTiming with her boyfriend on her iPad, which even though she and Grayson were not on an official "date," I thought was a pretty TACKY thing to do!
