Nauvoooooooo

We started at the Visitors Center & Gardens...

Went on a WAGON RIDE tour of Nauvoo, with a guide telling us about all the sights,

Then we went walking around Nauvoo, and saw some more sights, played some "pioneer games,"

saw a random FOX in the grass,

walked around on STILTS (Nathalie RULED!),

enjoyed some yummy lunch at the Nauvoo Mercantile,

and then chocolate TREATS (shhhh)!

After some relaxing time at Nathalie's sister, Lise's house, we went over to watch the Nauvoo Pageant just outside the temple grounds. There were lots of additional activities there while we were waiting for the Pageant to start.

Like a Joseph Smith-style STICK PULL,

DANCING...

Sawing logs,

Sack Races,

And SNOW CONES!

Then we watched the fabulous Nauvoo Pageant, the story of Joseph Smith and the building of the Nauvoo Temple. My camera wouldn't take any good pictures, but we really enjoyed the show!
