We visited CARTHAGE JAIL, where Joseph and Hyrum Smith were martyred. It was a quiet, and sacred visit. The story always touches my heart, how they went 'as lambs to the slaughter' and gave everything for the cause of restoring the gospel.

Then off to get ICE CREAM ...somehow that always works its way in there...
The next morning, we had a fabulous farewell breakfast/brunch before hitting the road.
