Sam the Man

So...as everyone knows, Sam has an OBSESSION with BATMAN. He was counting down for 81 DAYS for the new game to come out, which his Dad reserved for him months ago. He did his homework 3 days early, got his chores done, and even volunteered to use the massager on my back for 30 MINUTES if we could PLEASE go pick it up when it came out at midnight...

(Here's the homework he got done early -- and he got a 97% on it!)

ANYWAY...I passed on the massage (I KNOW, right?) and made him wait until after work the next day. Then his dad took him to get the game. Since then, it has basically been his motivation to get all "requireds" done early so that he can spend every EXTRA moment playing it.

 

Now, for a kid who LOVES Batman, why didn't he like the Bat-Hat below that I got him? It even had a cool (removable) Bat-Cape on the back of it. But, alas...he didn't like it, so I took it back to the store ("not Gotham City enough, too little-kiddie"). Whateverrrrr...Mom still has a lot to learn about Batman, I guess.
