Katie & Gary

A friend of mine, Katie Miner, got married recently in the Nashville Temple, and had her reception at Carnton Plantation here in Franklin to celebrate "faith, family and freedom." It was a beautiful setting, she was a stunning bride, and it was a very unique ceremony! The 'wedding party' came in to a emotional song she wrote for Gary, and then they told some of their story, Katie's dad spoke briefly, and each of their their moms said a little about them. The setting for the reception was simple, romantic and perfect!

Theirs is a very unique story of heartbreak and happiness, patience and perseverence, and different paths that finally led them to each other. Katie met Gary about a year and a half ago at work, and he has since joined the church and they are now married for time and all eternity.

I'm so happy for them both, and wish them all
the love and joy their hearts can hold!
